House With A Yard (HWAY) is an indie folk rock project founded by dynamic songwriter Davey Wallace. Moving from Pennsylvania to Colorado in 2013, HWAY has gathered some of the finest players and most unique musical characters hailing from across the country. Acoustic and electric instrumentation allow the band to explore the nuances of raw unrestrained rock, jazz/funk grooves, classical and baroque sensibilities, barn-burning bluegrass and the sweet deep pocket of old-time. Danceable, edgy, and melodic, House With A Yard delivers an immersive experience reflective of their northern Colorado home.

The band has played hundreds of live shows, including a 2019 summer tour through Midwest and Eastern states. They’ve shared bills with artists such as Sierra Hull, Rumpke Mountain Boys, Split Lip Rayfield, Kitchen Dwellers, and Wood Belly, plus members of Cabinet, Leftover Salmon and Trampled by Turtles. HWAY released their debut full-length album, Carousel in 2019 preceded by a 2017 EP, Seeking Higher Ground. The band is anticipating a new full length studio release in late 2022.
